Drain noodles, rinse, and then drain again. Place noodles in a covered dish to keep warm. Heat peanut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sesame seeds and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the seeds are golden brown. Reduce the heat to medium-low; add the vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, crushed red pepper, and chicken chunks and heat for about 2 minutes. Add to the linguine and toss until well combined. Sprinkle with the chopped scallions and serve immediately, or cover and chill until ready to serve.
